The Florida Project

, Start Time: 20:00 The Old Brewery Burnside Place, Old Town, Cromarty IV11 8XQ

Certificate 15  2017  109 minutes
Director: Sean Baker

The Florida Project tells the story of a precocious six year-old and her ragtag group of friends whose summer break is filled with childhood wonder, possibility and a sense of adventure while the adults around them struggle with hard times. It is a glorious film in which warmth and compassion win out over miserabilism or irony, painted in bright blocks of sunlit colour like a child’s storybook. William Dafoe is brilliant, but the show is stolen by wonderfully natural performances from the children.
